#NGWSD20: Dear Kory
Dear Kory,
I hope this letter finds you smiling and doing well. I am writing to you as the head coach of the Ole Miss women's golf team. That's right, you have pursued a career you love and your life has been wonderfully fulfilling.
I know you have many questions about what brought you to this point, but I do not want to spoil the journey. Instead, I want to give you some knowledge that I hope you will utilize.

If you commit to do something, show up and give it your all. You may not succeed 100 percent of the time, but even in failure, you learn so many lessons. Individual growth is challenging, but there is no growth in the comfort zone and no comfort in the growth zone.

Enjoy your youth! High school and college will be the best days of your life. While some days will seem packed with stress beyond belief, others will be filled with the absolute best times with your friends and family. You will have many opportunities presented to you, so trust your gut, experience life and truly find out the person you want to become.
If you commit to do something, show up and give it your all. You may not succeed 100 percent of the time, but even in failure, you learn so many lessons. Individual growth is challenging, but there is no growth in the comfort zone and no comfort in the growth zone. I challenge you to say yes to any and all opportunities that may come your way.

You already know what a wonderful family and group of friends you have, and no one goes through life without help. Rely on each of these people to assist you through the challenging times. Ask for help when you need it.
You are a driven person and always want to succeed, but remember to slow down and appreciate all of the experiences as well as the people who are on this journey with you. Time will go faster than you think. Be kind to yourself and others as you embark on this wonderful journey of life.
Love,
Kory
