OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss women's golf team competes in its final tournament of the fall season Monday and Tuesday at the Palmetto Women's Intercollegiate at Oak Point in Kiawah Island, S.C. The event is hosted by the College of Charleston.
"I feel positive about the tournament," said Lady Rebel head coach Keil Purdom. "It's a good field, and the girls are on a rebound from a tough fall. I feel the girls are ready to do whatever it takes to win."
Ole Miss has one top five finish this fall and is coming off a 12th-place showing at the Lady Paladin Invitational, carding a 947.
Leading the Lady Rebels, senior Robyn Rinaldo finished 15th with a 227 to earn her 20th career top-20 finish and her second of the fall. A 1999 All-SEC first team selection, Rinaldo is leading the Lady Rebels in stroke average this year with a 76.92 mark. She will be joined in South Carolina by Marci Kornegay, Teresa Brown, Elizabeth Hoffman and Kerrie Davis.
