OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss soccer player Jennifer Soileau was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Central Region Second Team for the 1999 season.

Soileau, a junior midfielder from Baton Rouge, La., scored 12 points on three goals and six assists in helping lead the Rebels to the finals of the Southeastern Conference Tournament this season.

Soileau was named to the NSCAA All-Central Region Third Team as a sophomore last season.

"I'm excited for Jennifer. It's good to see her hard work pay off for her," Ole Miss head coach Steve Holeman said. "She was named to the third team last year and worked very hard to improve her game and this is a recognition of that improvement."

Soileau, who was also named to the All-SEC First Team this year, was one of only four players from the SEC to be named an NSCAA All-Central Region selection this season.
