OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Ole Miss senior guard Keith Carter has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District VI first team, as voted on by the district's coaches. The NABC honors were released on Tuesday.
Carter was joined on the NABC All-District VI first team by Georgia's Jumaine Jones, Miami's Tim James and Auburn's Chris Porter and Bryant Smith. The district includes the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Mississippi.
"I'm excited for Keith that he has received this honor," Ole Miss head coach Rod Barnes said. "It's special to be named to the first team, and he deserves it. He has worked very hard, and has been a consistent player for us all season."
