Lady Rebel Golfers in 17th after Second Round

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Ole Miss junior Robyn Rinaldo shot a two-over par 74 to pace the Lady Rebel effort in second-round play at the NCAA East Regional on Friday. The NCAA East Regional is being played at the par-72 University Club.
Despite delays in Thursday's first round, all 19 teams were able to complete the first two rounds of play on Friday. The Lady Rebels are 17th after the second round, carding a 312-306-618. Furman leads the team competition with a score of 290-293-583. LSU is second with a 299-292-591, followed by Georgia in third with a 300-294-594.
After shooting a team-best 75 on Thursday, senior Megan Breen carded a four-over par 76 in Friday's second round for a two-day score of 151. Breen is tied with Rinaldo in 32nd place. Rinaldo has a score of 77-74-151 after two rounds.
Sophomores Marci Kornegay and Teresa Brown both are tied at 79th after the second round. Kornegay carded an 81-77-158 in her two rounds, while Brown scored a 79-79-158. Freshman Kim Tudor is 98th with a two-round score of 86-80-166.
Furman's Jennifer Perri and Stacey Burnett and LSUs Lisette Lee are tied atop the leader board, as all three golfers carded a two-under par 142 in the first two rounds.
