Lady Rebels Host Georgia, Travels to Mississippi State

OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss Lady Rebel soccer team will hope to secure a spot in the 1998 SEC tournament with a pair of conference games this weekend.
The Lady Rebels will close out their conference schedule hosting Georgia Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium and traveling to Mississippi State Sunday for a 1:00 p.m. game.
"We are fortunate to still be in the position that we are in," said Rebel coach Steve Holeman. "Now its just a question of playing to our potential and that the wins take care of themselves."
If Ole Miss, 6-5-2 overall, 2-4 in the Southeastern Conference, wins its last two games, it will finish second in the West and face the SEC East's third-place team in the conference championships.
