Women's Golfers Make SEC Academic Honor Roll

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Ole Miss senior Megan Breen and junior Robyn Rinaldo, members of the Lady Rebel golf team, were named to the Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office on Wednesday. A total of 26 student-athletes were named to the women's golf honor roll.

Breen holds a 3.84 grade-point average in Banking and Finance, while Rinaldo has a 3.19 grade-point average in Leisure Management. Rinaldo leads the Lady Rebel squad in stroke average at 75.24 and is ranked fifth in the SEC. Breen is second on the team in stroke average at 75.73 and is ranked seventh in the conference.

To be eligible for selection to the SEC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average or higher, be a sophomore or higher in academic classification and have 24 semester hours toward a degree.

The Lady Rebels return to action this weekend (April 16-18) at the SEC Women's Golf Championships in Opelika, Ala. The tournament is being hosted by the Auburn University.
