Women's Soccer Takes Two

OXFORD, Miss. - Ashley Thompson, Sara Schauberger and Sarah Wong scored three goals apiece over the weekend in leading Ole Miss to an 8-1 victory over the Germantown Fury Club team and an 8-0 victory over the Shreveport Futbol Club team.
Thompson, who had never scored a goal for the Rebels, scored three goals against Germantown and Wong added two goals. Shauberger also scored a goal against the Fury.
Against Shreveport, Shauberger scored two goals and Wong one goal in leading the Rebels to victory.
The Rebels close out the spring season by hosting the Home 6-Aside Tournament on Saturday, April 16. The 10-team tournament begins at 9 a.m. and concludes with the finals at 6 p.m.
Arkansas-Little Rock, Jackson Calypso, LSU, Memphis FC, Mississippi State, NOSA Rhodes, Southeast Louisiana, University of Memphis, Ole Miss and William Carey will participate in the tournament.
