Lady Rebel Golfers Remain in Third after Second Round

OPELIKA, Ala. - Ole Miss senior Megan Breen shot a two-over par 74 to lead the Lady Rebel golf team in second-round action at the Southeastern Conference Women's Golf Championships on Saturday. The tournament is being held at the par-72 Grand National Lake Course.
The Lady Rebels are in third place after the second round with a score of 613. Ole Miss shot a 305 in the second round of play on Saturday. Georgia leads the field with a 596 after round two, with Tennessee in second place at 610.
With her second-round, two-over par 74, Breen moved into a tie for seventh place. Breen has a two-round total of 77-74=151. Junior Robyn Rinaldo, who was in third place after round one, is tied for 11th after her second-round score of 78. Rinaldo has a two-round total of 74-78=152.
Freshman Kim Tudor and sophomore Marci Kornegay are also among the top-20 golfers after round two. Tudor is tied for 15th place after shooting 77 in the second round, while Kornegay jumped from 31st to 19th after her four-over par 76 on Saturday. Tudor has a two-day score of 78-77=155, and Kornegay has a total of 80-76=156. Sophomore Teresa Brown is tied for 37th with a two-round score of 79-82=161.
Georgia's Shauna Estes continues to lead the field with a score of 67-73=140 after the second round. The SEC Championships continue with final-round play on Sunday.
