OXFORD, Miss. - Keith Carter tied a career-high with 33 points as the Rebels beat No. 21 Arkansas 89-81 Saturday to complete a regular-season sweep of the Razorbacks.

The Rebels (15-7, 5-4 Southeastern Conference), who had to overcome a 10-0 deficit to start the game, have won five of the last six games against Arkansas (15-6, 4-4).

Carter's 3-pointer with 12:02 left put Ole Miss ahead for good, 60-57. That was part of a 16-5 run and ended a two-minute explosion by Carter in which he scored 10 straight points.

Arkansas went ahead 52-47 on Sergerio Gipson's 3-pointer before Michael White's 3-pointer started the game-turning run.

Carter followed with a 3-pointer with 14:07 left and, after Derek Hood's inside basket for Arkansas, scored four points in less than 10 seconds. After making two free throws, Carter stole a pass at midcourt and drove for a layup.

Jason Smith added 17 points for the Rebels while 5-foot-5 freshman reserve Jason Harrison had 14.

Freshman Chris Jefferies had 19 points to lead five Arkansas players in double figures. Kareem Reid and Hood both had 15 points, while Pat Bradley had 11 and Gipson 10.

Three weeks ago, Ole Miss won 76-65 at Fayetteville to snap Arkansas' 30-game homecourt winning streak. The Rebels had their 29-game homecourt streak snapped by No. 7 Auburn the next game but have won 47 of their last 50 games at Tad Smith Coliseum.

Arkansas scored the game's first 10 points, including a pair of 3-pointers by Reid.

After three free throws by Harrison tied the game at 24, the Rebels took their first lead on a Smith layup with 6:24 left that began a 13-3 run.
