Women's Golfers at Lady Seminole Invitational

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.--The Ole Miss women's golf team is in third place at the Lady Seminole Invitational after completing the first round Saturday with a 302 and firing a team record 287 in the second round.
The 287 is the lowest single-round score by a Lady Rebel golf team, breaking the record of 293 from the 1998 Lady Gator Invitational. In the second round, senior Megan Breen of Longwood, Fla., fired a 69, the second-lowest single-round score in Ole Miss history. Breen is tied for 10th place with a 77-69--146.
Robyn Rinaldo, a junior from Dade City, Fla., shot a 73-72--145 and is tied for eighth place. Marci Kornegay, a sophomore from Savannah, Ga., shot a 78-71--149 and is tied for 17th. Kornegay's 71 tied her for the fourth-best single round score in Lady Rebel history.
Teresa Brown, a sophomore from Windermere, Fla., is tied for 47th with a 79-75--154, and Anna Kirchner, a senior from Spring, Texas, is tied for 51st with a 74-81--155.
North Carolina leads the tournament with a 579, followed by Auburn with a 588.
The Lady Rebels will play the final round of the tournament Sunday.
