Women's Soccer Players Earn Honors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Eleven Ole Miss Lady Rebel soccer players were named to the 1998 Southeastern Conference Women's Soccer Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office on Wednesday.

The Rebels receiving SEC Academic Honor Roll accolades are seniors Michelle Dubuc, Elizabeth Lee and Tammy Zegledi, juniors Brooke Riley and Leigh Frisbee, and sophomores Mary Ann Moss, Jessica O'Neil, Regan Scanlon, Jennifer Soileau, Sarah Wong and Sara Schauberger.

"We expect our players not only to excel on the field, but in the classroom as well," said Lady Rebel head coach Steve Holeman. "Our players have worked hard in the classroom and we are proud to see their hard work rewarded."

To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point averageof 3.0 or higher, be a sophomore or higher in academic classification, and have 24 semester or 26 quarter hours countable toward a degree.
