Lady Rebels Open Season at UT-Martin

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss Lady Rebels' soccer team opens the 1999 season Saturday on the road against the University of Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks.
The game is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start.
The Lady Rebels are 3-1 in season openers under fifth-year head coach Steve Holeman and return seven starters from last year's squad that went 9-7-2 and advanced to the Southeastern Conference tournament for the second consecutive year.
Among the returning starters is junior midfielder Jennifer Soileau, who earned first-team All-SEC last season after scoring 32 points on nine goals and 14 assists.
Also returning for the Lady Rebels' is junior midfielder Sarah Wong who scored a team-high 11 goals in 1998.
Ole Miss plays in-state rival Southern Mississippi on Sept. 1, in Hattiesburg before opening their 1999 home schedule on Sept. 3, against Southwest Missouri State.
