OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss Lady Rebels travel to Hattiesburg on Wednesday to take on the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles.
Ole Miss (1-0) is coming off an 8-0 win over UT-Martin on Saturday, while the Golden Eagles (1-0) enter the match with 7-0 victory over Northwestern State under their belts.
The Lady Rebels are 2-0 all-time against Southern Mississippi, including last year's 4-0 win in Hattiesburg.
"Southern Mississippi will be a good challenge for our team," Ole Miss head coach Steve Holeman said. "After having two games on the road, it will be good to get back and play in front of the home crowd on Friday. Our fans are terrific and they really make home games an exciting atmosphere for college soccer."
Ole Miss returns to Oxford for the home opener on Friday, Sept. 3, against Southwest Missouri State. The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
Fans attending the game will be eligible to win prizes from Papa John's Pizza, Abbeyville Catfish and Lady Rebel soccer paraphernalia courtesy of Rebel Sports Marketing.
