Ole Miss Soccer Takes On Mississippi State Wednesday

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss Lady Rebels will take on Southeastern Conference foe Mississippi State at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The Lady Rebels, 8-2 overall and 3-1 in the SEC, are coming off a 6-1 victory over Auburn on Friday and a 2-0 win over Alabama on Sunday. Ole Miss is currently leading the SEC Western Division, with a two game lead over second-place LSU.

The Bulldogs are 3-8 overall and 1-3 in the SEC and are coming off a 1-0 victory over Auburn on Sunday.

"This is always a big game for us. It's a great rivalry and we are looking forward to the challenge," Ole Miss head coach Steve Holeman said. "Mississippi State is coming off a big win and will be ready to play on Wednesday."

The Lady Rebels travel to Albuquerque, N.M., on Friday to take on New Mexico and Butler in a tournament hosted by the University of New Mexico.
