OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss soccer team continues Southeastern Conference play at home this weekend against Eastern Division foes South Carolina and Florida. The Rebels host the Gamecocks Friday at 7 p.m. and the Gators Sunday at 1 p.m.

Ole Miss (10-3, 3-1 SEC) remains atop the SEC West after splitting two games in a swing through Alabama last weekend. The Rebels, who are ranked sixth in the Central Region, saw their nine-game winning streak end Friday night in double overtime to Alabama, 1-0, but bounced back for a 4-0 beating of Auburn on Sunday.

Regan Scanlon posted two goals and an assist to lead Ole Miss over the Tigers. The senior forward from Pittsford, N.Y., ranks third on the team in points (13), goals (5) and assists (3) this season.

South Carolina (3-11, 0-4 SEC) is in search of its first conference win this weekend. The Gamecocks have lost six straight SEC matches, but have won both previous meetings with the Rebels.

Becca Epstein is leading USC in her first season in Columbia. The freshman forward has 10 points, four goals and two assists this year.

Ole Miss faces its first ranked opponent of the season Sunday in No. 23 Florida (8-6, 4-0 SEC). The defending SEC Champion Gators knocked off the Rebels, 3-0, in the finals of the 1999 conference tournament.

Florida is fresh off a 5-3 victory over No. 10 Kentucky last Friday, its fourth win over a top 20 team this season. Junior Andi Sellers turned in her fourth career hat trick against the Wildcats. Sellers tops UF in points (25), goals (10) and assists (5) in 2000.
