Ole Miss-Virginia Commonwealth Postgame Notes
- Freshman Justin Reed recorded the first double-double of his career with 16 points and 13 boards. His 16 points and 13 rebounds were both career highs.
- Freshman David Sanders netted a career-high 13 points in the win over VCU.
- Sophomore Emmanuel Wade hit a career-high nine free throws vs. VCU. His previous career best was five free throws in the Rebels' win over VCU last year in Oxford.
- Senior Rahim Lockhart keeps closing in on the No. 14 spot on the Rebel career rebounding chart. Lockhart now has 526 career rebounds, just 11 shy of tying Ivan Richmann (1958-60). Richmann grabbed 537 rebounds in his career.
- Ole Miss now has a 24-3 record in games played in the month of November since the 1990-91 season. The Rebels have won 10 straight in the month of November.
- Senior Jason Holmes tied a career high with six rebounds vs. VCU. Holmes also recorded six boards vs. the Rams last year.
- Ole Miss has now won four of its last five overtime games (since the 1995-96 season) with its 88-84 win over VCU.
