Men's Doubles Team Reaches Quarterfinals At Region III

ATHENS, Ga. - The Ole Miss men's tennis duo of Kristofer Stahlberg and Conor Casey advanced to the quarterfinals at the ITA Region III Championships Friday at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
Stahlberg and Casey won two matches on Friday to reach the quarterfinals. In the second round the duo downed Tom Dalby and Andre Van der Merwe of UAB 8-3. Then in the third round, Stahlberg and Casey dominated Vince Baudat and Julien Raynal of South Alabama 8-2.
They will face the winner of the match between Eddie Coates and Bobby Reynolds of Vanderbilt and Lesley Joseph and Bo Hodge of Georgia, which will be played Saturday after the morning singles matches.
Stahlberg and Casey are it for the Rebels, as Alex Hartman and Patrick Chucri lost a tight doubles match to Christian Thall and Zinchanka of South Alabama 8-6.
