Limited Number Of Men's Basketball Student Season Tickets Remain

OXFORD, Miss. - Only a limited number of Ole Miss men's basketball student season tickets remain for the 2000-01 season. Student season tickets went on sale Nov. 1.
Student season ticket packages are $32 for the Rebels' 16 home contests in 2000-01. Students must have their school ID to purchase season tickets, and for students with spouses who want to purchase two season tickets with one ID, they must bring a copy of their marriage license or a check with both names printed on it. The Ole Miss ticket office is located in Tad Smith Coliseum.
The Rebels tip off their regular-season slate Nov. 18 versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Game time for the season opener is 12:00 p.m. (CT).
The Ole Miss home schedule also features non-league showdowns with Oklahoma (Dec. 2) and Kansas State (Dec. 5) and Southeastern Conference contests versus Georgia (Jan. 13), Kentucky (Jan. 20), Arkansas (Jan. 31), LSU (Feb. 7), Tennessee (Feb. 10), Mississippi State (Feb. 14), Auburn (Feb. 24) and Alabama (Mar. 3).
Ole Miss' other non-SEC games include contests versus Sam Houston State (Nov. 22), Louisiana-Monroe (Nov. 28), Southeastern Louisiana (Dec. 13), Troy State (Dec. 18) and Morris Brown (Dec. 30).
Ole Miss enters the 2000-01 season with the nation's third-longest winning streak versus non-conference opponents at 35 straight. Maryland (72) and Penn State (48) are the only two schools with more consecutive victories at home versus non-league opponents.
The Rebels host their second exhibition game Saturday, Nov. 11 versus Christian Brothers. Game time is 1:00 p.m. (CT) at Tad Smith Coliseum. Ole Miss defeated Spirit Express, 99-74 in its first exhibition contest Nov. 6.
