Women's Soccer Players Honored

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss' Jennifer Soileau and Kristin Chapman have been named to the 2000 National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Central Region Team. Soileau was named to the first team, while Chapman was selected for the third team.
Soileau, a senior midfielder from Baton Rouge, La., earned her third NSCAA All-Region selection but first as a member of the first team, which makes her eligible for All-America honors. Soileau closed out her Rebel career in 2000 as the school's all-time leading scorer with 99 career total points. She is a three-time All-SEC first team pick and a member of the 2000 USASA National Team?s Player Pool.
Chapman, a sophomore defender from Vicksburg, Miss., garnered her first NSCAA nomination. Chapman started every game of her first year at Ole Miss, after spending the 1999 season at Florida. She was also named to the 2000 All-SEC second team.
