- The Rebels ran their record to 8-0 with the 58-46 win over Southeastern Louisiana. The 8-0 start is the second best in school history behind the 1936-37 team's 11-0 start.
- Ole Miss extended its homecourt winning streak versus non-conference opponents to 41 straight with their win. It is the third longest streak in the nation behind Maryland (72) and Penn State (51).
- Rahim Lockhart recorded the 18th double-double of his career with his 21-point, 14-rebound performance. It is his fourth double-double of the season.
- Lockhart's 10-of-11 shooting performance from the field (.909 percent) is tied for the second best in school history. Lockhart is tied with Carlos Clark (.909 vs. UAB, 12-6-80) and Fred Cox (.909 vs. Florida, 1-21-74). The top shooting performance was by Jarrell Evans, who was a perfect 12-of-12 from the field versus Abilene Christian (11-29-93).
- The Rebels held their opponent to under 60 points for the fourth straight game. In the last four games, the Ole Miss defense is allowing 50.8 points per game.
