Ole Miss Head Coach Rod Barnes:
(On the game)
"I think we came out really focused today and took care of business from the start."

(On the season to date)
"I think that we have had a good non-conference season. We have good leadership, but you cannot have good leadership without good followers. Our young guys have really performed well. There has been a lot of hard work and dedication. I am not satisfied because we are not in the NCAA Tournament yet, but I am pleased."

(On comparing this year's team to last year's team)
"I think we are better than last year's 12-1 team. The two biggest differences are this year we defend better and shoot free throws better. I also think we have better leaders. They have learned it from the guys before them."

Ole Miss senior forward Rahim Lockhart:
(On the `Provine Posse')
"I think they have been a blessing to the team. All three of them are very talented and bring toughness to the team. They are all winners and they listen to the coaches really well. I do not even think of them as `Provine' guys anymore, they are just Rebels now."

Morris Brown Head Coach Russell Ellington:
(On the game)
"Our offense was out of sync. We did not do a good job on either end of the floor. We shot poorly, but I would credit a lot of that to Ole Miss. Their defense was really good today."

(Assessing Ole Miss as a team)
"Ole Miss is a very sound defensive team. They also do a good job on offense. Their size is good on the inside. They are well-coached on the perimeter and very fundamentally sound. They display a lot of patience and that is one of the main reasons they are so successful. They did what they wanted to do when they wanted to do it."
