Ole Miss head coach Rod Barnes:

(On the game)
"I am happy and satisfied with our play for the most part. Jason Flanigan and Rahim Lockhart did a good job, but the younger kids did not play as well tonight. I am thankful for the their leadership on this team."

(On Jason Holmes' play)
"Jason is a guy who has hung in there. I have been expecting Jason to play well and tonight was his night. I am happy for him. He has accepted whatever we have given him and is defending consistently."

Ole Miss senior Jason Holmes:

(On his play tonight)
"There are a lot of good players on this team, and tonight was just my turn to step up. Last year I was behind most of the year because I was not in good physical condition when the season started. This year I stayed over the summer and got in good shape, so when the season started I was ready to play. It has made a big difference."

Kansas State head coach Jim Wooldridge:

(On the game)
"This is just a really good Ole Miss team. They did a great job on defense. Ole Miss is definitely making some positive progress. They took us out of everything we wanted to do tonight."

Kansas State sophomore Richie Terry:

(On the loss)
"Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. Defense, defense, defense. Ole Miss pressured the ball really well. They have good outside and inside players. To beat them, you have to keep them off the boards and not turn the ball over."

Kansas State junior Travis Reynolds:

(On the game)
"We really did not play to our ability tonight. We turned the ball over too much and that really hurt us. We did not come out ready to play. Ole Miss played a very physical game tonight and we were not able to match their intensity."
