(On the stretch run)
"We're all down after the loss to Georgia on Saturday, but we also know there is a lot left to the season. The end of the regular season is getting closer and we realize that. However, we have confidence that we can get on a roll in our final six games. We're looking forward to getting on the court in practice and working on the things we need to improve on. We know the season is not over.
"We have to keep moving forward and pressing on. 'Pressing on' has been our motto ever since I have been a part of this program. When times get tough, we just keep moving forward."
(On Coach Barnes' relationship with him and his teammates)
"Coach Barnes is a father figure to all of us on the team, and that is what we need when we're away from home. He knows when to discipline us when we do something wrong and give us a hug when we do something right.
We know that we are going to do it his way or we won't do it at all, and we respect him for that. He isn't going to do everything that is going to please every player on this team, but that is a coach's job - to make those decisions which he thinks is right for the players and the team.
"Personally, Coach Barnes has been there for me quite a few times that I have needed an encouraging word. He's always been there for me, and I know that he'll continue to be there for each and every player on this team."
