Women's Soccer Tabs Two More Highly Regarded Athletes

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss women's soccer team added two signees Tuesday, bringing its total to seven for the 2000 signing class.

The Rebels signed forward/midfield Tiffany Weiss from Colony High School in Frisco, Texas.

Weiss, who graduated from high school early and is currently enrolled at Ole Miss, was named Colony's Female Athlete of the Year in 1999 and was a three-time first team all-district performer.

Ole Miss also signed forward Amy Sample from South Oldham High School in Crestwood, Ky.

Sample led South Oldham to three state championships and was named to the first team All-State team in 1998 and 1999.

The Ole Miss soccer team completed the 1999 season with a 14-9 record and claimed its first Southeastern Conference Western Division title.
