OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Rahim Lockhart scored 15 points, including a late-game free throw and a tip-in basket with 12 seconds remaining, in Mississippi's 63-59 win over Alabama on Wednesday.
Ole Miss (17-11, 5-10 Southeastern Conference) led 59-57 with possession of the ball and 38 seconds remaining after Lockhart, who is 47 percent free-throw shooter, made one from the line.
Alabama (13-14, 6-9), who is coming off home wins over then-11th ranked Auburn and then-No. 7 Tennessee, missed an opportunity to tie the game after the free throw.

The loss was Alabama's seventh consecutive on the road in the SEC this season and 13th consecutive dating back to last season.
Ole Miss snapped a 50-50 tie with a 6-0 run with 7:15 left and never surrendered the lead.
