Ole Miss Soccer Closes Spring Exhibition Season With Tournament

OXFORD, Miss. - The defending Southeastern Conference Western Division champion Ole Miss Rebels will wrap-up their spring exhibition season by hosting the Ole Miss 6-A Side Tournament on Saturday at the Ole Miss soccer complex.

The 12 team tournament features seven division I collegiate teams including the Rebels. The University of Alabama-Birmingham, University of Memphis, Rhodes College, University of Arkansas-Little Rock, Louisiana-Monroe and Southeast Louisiana will all participate in the action.

Two teams comprised of University of Memphis alumni and Ole Miss alumni will also play in the tournament.

The Germantown Fury, Memphis FC and the Jackson FC club teams will also compete in the one day tournament.

The Rebels will open tournament play at 9 a.m. on Saturday against Louisiana-Monroe. Ole Miss will then play Rhodes College at 11:30 a.m. and play Jackson FC at 2 p.m.

The semi-finals are scheduled to begin at 4:20 p.m., with the championship game set for 6 p.m.

Admission to the tournament is free of charge.
