Women's Golf Travels To LSU Classic

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss women's golf team competes in its final regular season tournament this weekend at the LSU-Cleveland Golf Classic in Baton Rouge, La. The 54-hole event runs Friday through Sunday at the par 72, 6,265-yard University Club Course.
The Classic is the Lady Rebels' final tune-up before playing in the Southeastern Conference Championships in Rogers, Ark. April 21-23. Ole Miss is joined this weekend by No. 41 Alabama, No. 42 Arkansas, Arkansas-Little Rock, Memphis, No. 24 Mississippi State, UNC- Wilmington, North Texas, No. 31 South Florida, SMU, No. 35 Tulane and the host No. 9 LSU.
Ole Miss will be looking to improve on a 14th-place finish at last weekend's Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic. Junior Marci Kornegay was the Lady Rebels' top finisher at 28th with a 231.
Kornegay along with Robyn Rinaldo, Teresa Brown, Elizabeth Hoffman and Kerrie Davis will be competing at LSU. Bernadette Luse will play as an individual.
