BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Ole Miss' Regan Scanlon was named Southeastern Conference Soccer Player of the Week Monday, as announced by the league office.
Scanlon, a senior forward from Pittsford, N.Y., scored three goals in a pair of games last weekend at the LSU Invitational. She netted two goals in the Rebels' 3-1 win over Oklahoma State, and scored the game-winner in the 1-0 victory against Texas Tech with only 3:12 remaining in regulation.
Scanlon was named to the LSU Invitational All-Tournament Team, and helped Ole Miss notch its first two wins of the season and first place in the tournament.
