- The Rebels have won eight of the last 10 meetings with the Razorbacks. Ole Miss has swept the season series with Arkansas for the third time since the 1996-97 season (1996-97, 1998-99, 2000-01).
- Ole Miss' win coupled with Alabama's loss at Vanderbilt put the Rebels in sole possession of second place and one-half game behind the Crimson Tide.
- David Sanders scored a career-high 19 points vs. Arkansas. He also hit a career-best six FGs.
- Rahim Lockhart moved into ninth place on the Ole Miss career rebounding chart with 672 (four rebounds). Lockhart passed Jason Smith (1996-99), who finished his career with 671 boards.
- Justin Reed netted double figures in his fifth straight SEC game with 12 points vs. the Razorbacks. He has scored in double figures in six of seven SEC games.
- Arkansas' Jannero Pargo led all scorers with 20 points, with all 20 coming in the second half.
- After hitting only 29 percent in Saturday's game at Mississippi State, Ole Miss bounced back with a 60 percent shooting performance vs. Arkansas Wednesday.
- Rahim Lockhart now has 963 career points after scoring 13 vs. Arkansas.
