Soileau To Compete In All-Star Tourney

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Ole Miss soccer player Jennifer Soileau will compete in the Umbro Select Tournament beginning Thursday at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Soileau, the Rebels' all-time leading scorer, is a member of the Central Team.
The Umbro Select, which runs through Sunday, features men's and women's all-star games with collegiate soccer's top seniors. The men's players are divided into two teams, while the women are split into four.
Soileau has also been added to the WUSA draft of college seniors, which takes place after the tournament. A midfielder from Baton Rouge, La., Soileau closed out her four-year Rebel career in the fall with her third All-SEC first team selection. She was also named to the 2000 All-Central Region first team by both the NSCAA and Soccer Buzz, in addition to earning Academic All-America status.
