Ole Miss Claims Tiger Invitational Title

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Ole Miss rifle team continued its sharp shooting following the Ole Miss Invitational as the team traveled to Memphis and claimed the top spot in the Tiger Invitational with a score of 1487.
Senior Misty Ballard paced the Rebels once again with a score of 376 in the air rifle. Her score pushed her to a third place finish in the meet behind Memphis' Charles Moss and TCU's Jessica Green.
Sophomore Kristin Parker notched a fifth place finish overall with her score of 374, while freshman Megan Roberts finished in the sixth place spot with a score of 372. Sophomore and team captain Maranda Stockton finished in eighth with a 365.
The Rebels will compete again Friday at the Walsh Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio on Friday, November 2.
