OXFORD, Miss. - With its semifinal finish at the SEC Tournament, the Ole Miss soccer squad saw three of its players - Tiffany Weiss, Kristin Chapman and Kristal Menard - named to the All-Tournament team this week.

Weiss, a sophomore forward from Dallas, turned in one of her best games of the season in the first-round win over Mississippi State. Nursing a head injury, Weiss came off the bench to notch two scores in a two-minute span in the 2-1 come-from-behind victory. She finishes the season as the Rebels' leading scorer with seven goals and 18 total points.

After earning All-SEC first team honors at defender on Wednesday, Chapman turned around to start at forward in both Tournament games for the first time since her prep days at Vicksburg. The junior keyed the Ole Miss offense and picked up two assists in the Tournament.

Menard, a freshman from Crestwood, Ky., occupied the forward position during the season, but played a stellar midfield for the Rebels in the SEC Tournament. Menard ends her rookie campaign fourth on the team in scoring with three goals and three assists.

"I think it is a great honor for Tiffany, Kristin and Kristal to be recognized for their tremendous effort in the SEC Tournament," said Ole Miss head coach Steve Holeman. "All three of them made unbelievable team contributions. Tiffany was coming off a concussion, Kristin made it as a forward after playing defense all season and Kristal made it as a midfielder after playing forward all year."

It was the second time in three years the Rebels advanced past the Tournament's opening round. Ole Miss finishes the year with a 10-10-1 mark, giving the Rebels their sixth consecutive season with a .500 or better record.
