It certainly has not been easy.
The Ole Miss soccer team is in position to claim its third consecutive SEC Western Division Championship. A win against the Mississippi State Bulldogs at the Ole Miss soccer stadium Friday night would give the Rebels (9-8-1, 4-4) at least a share of the title.
However, this year's run has been much more difficult than the previous two.
The team has been depleted. They lost five seniors, including four four-year starters from the 2000 team. This season, they have been struck by season ending injuries to three key players.
And yet, they are once again playing for the division title.
