* Ole Miss is making its fifth straight SEC Tournament appearance. The Rebels are the only Western Division team to have earned a tournament berth the past five seasons and are the West's winningest team (both overall at .580 and in league play at .477) over that stretch. UM is 3-4 in SEC Tournament action with its best finish coming in 1999 when the team advanced to the championship game to play Florida.

* Friday's match with Auburn marks the fourth time Ole Miss has faced an opponent during the regular season and again in the SEC Tournament with splits in every instance. Three times the Rebels lost during the season but picked up the victory in the Tournament, including the rematch win over Mississippi State on Thursday. Last year, Ole Miss knocked off Georgia in the regular season, but suffered an opening round loss to UGA in the Championships.

* Ole Miss has secured its sixth consecutive season with a .500 or better record. The last time the Rebels finished below .500 was the program's inaugural season in 1995.

* Ole Miss has scored more than two goals in a game only once this season - an 11-0 win over Alabama A&M on Sept. 26. However, the Rebels are 5-0-1 when they net two goals.

SEMIFINAL GAME: Ole Miss faces its second straight rematch Friday in the semifinal game with Auburn. The Rebels notched a 1-0 win over the Tigers on Oct. 14 behind a Tiffany Weiss seven-yard score. Weiss connected on her first goals since that match on Thursday, scoring both Rebels goals in the 2-1 opening round win over Mississippi State. Auburn leads the all-time series 4-3, but Ole Miss has won the last three faceoffs, including back-to-back shutouts with Melinda Smith in goal.

FIRST ROUND: Tiffany Weiss scored two goals in a two-minute span to lead Ole Miss to a 2-1 win over Mississippi State Thursday in the opening round of the SEC Tournament. Weiss tied the game at 1-1 at the 66:09 mark, booting a Kristin Chapman pass to the bottom right corner of the net. Weiss connected on the go-ahead goal 2:06 later when she fired a shot from the top of the box past Bulldog goalkeeper Krystal Werges after a short clearance by the MSU goalie. Wearing a protective head piece to defend against an injury suffered against South Carolina on Oct. 26, Weiss came off the bench to pick up her second multiple-goal game of the season and her team high sixth and seventh goals.
