Lady Rebel Golf Finishes 15th At Lady Gator Invitational

Leading the way for the Lady Rebels was Teresa Brown, who fired a 74-75-80-229 to tie for 34th place individually. Marci Kornegay tied for 42nd place with a 77-73-81-231 and Kerrie Davis tied for 54th place with a 82-74-78-234. Davis' second-round score of 74 tied her season- best round. Elizabeth Hoffman finished in a tie for 78th place with a 80-79-85-244 and Teesha Ash had a 54-hole total of 81-88-84-253 in 86th place.
Georgia's Summer Simmons took individual medalist honors in a playoff with Tennessee's Young-A Yang. Simmons fired a 73-69-71-213 and won the championship in sudden death playoff.
The Lady Rebels will be back in action on March 16-18, when they travel to Columbia, S.C., to play in the Lady Gamecock Classic, hosted by the University of South Carolina.
