- The Rebels ran their record to 18-4 after a 50-33 win over LSU Feb. 7. The 18-4 record is the program's best 22-game start in history. The previous best was a 17-5 mark by the 1936-37 team.
- Aaron Harper netted 16 points versus LSU, his best scoring performance in SEC play.
- Rahim Lockhart inched closer to the 1,000-point plateau for his career. After scoring six points versus LSU, he now has 980 points for his career.
- Ole Miss held LSU to 33 points, the lowest point total for a Rebel opponent since the 1981-82 season when Ole Miss defeated Mississippi State, 47-33 on Feb. 20, 1982.
- The 33 points were the lowest offensive output for LSU since the Tigers scored 32 points in a 37-32 loss to Alabama on March 1, 1948.
- The Rebels have won three straight and four of their last five games heading into Saturday's game versus Tennessee.
- The Rebels' win over LSU coupled with Alabama's loss at Mississippi State Feb. 7 gives Ole Miss a half-game lead in the SEC Western Division. Ole Miss has a 6-3 record, while the Tide is 6-4.
