Ole Miss Falls Three Spots

ATHENS, Ga.-- After finishing the first round in ninth place on Friday, the Ole Miss women's golf team finds itself tied for 12th place Saturday at the 2001 Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic. The Lady Rebels fired a 36-hole total of 319-322--641.

Duke has the overall lead with a two-day total of 291-303--594.

Ole Miss' Marci Kornegay is tied for 10th place with a 73-77--150. Bernadette Luse is tied for 41st place with a 36-hole total of 78-80--158. Kerrie Davis has a two-day total of 84-82-- 166 and is tied for 72nd place. Elizabeth Hoffman and Teresa Brown are tied for 76th place with 84-83--167.

Final round play is slated for Sunday at the University of Georgia Golf Course.
