OLE MISS VS. WEST FLORIDA ...
Ole Miss (7-3, 2-1) returns to action Thursday, as they step out of conference to face Division II powerhouse West Florida at 9:00 a.m. The Argos are a member of the Gulf South Conference.

SERIES HISTORY ...
Ole Miss and West Florida met for the first time last year, with the Rebels claiming a 4-0 win.

OLE MISS SPLITS ROAD TRIP ...
Ole Miss defeated 27th-ranked Auburn 4-3, Sunday afternoon at the Luther Young Tennis Complex to go 1-1 on their road trip. On Friday, the Rebels suffered a 4-3 setback at Alabama. Against Auburn, Ole Miss won the opening doubles point to take a 1-0 lead in the match. Auburn took the top spot, as ninth-ranked Georges Matijasevic and Tiago Ruffoni downed 21st-ranked James Shortall and Kristofer Stahlberg, 8-3. Martin Selin and Conor Casey defeated Rameez Junaid and Ryan Sanders, 8-4 at No. 3 doubles, and then Alex Hartman and Patrick Chucri defeated Mark Kovacs and Raitis Tukans, 9-7 at the No. 2 position to clinch the point. In singles, 12th-ranked Shortall dominated 44th-ranked Ruffoni, 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Stahlberg, ranked No. 38 in the nation, continued his assault on college tennis, by defeating Junaid, 7-6(5), 6-1 at No. 3 singles. Auburn's Kovac put the Tigers on the board with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Rebel Paul Ciorascu at No. 5 singles. The Tiger's Andre Boz made it 3-2 when he defeated Ole Miss' Chucri, 6-2, 7-5 at No. 6 singles. Seventh-ranked Hartman clinched the victory with a straight-set win over Matijasevic, 6-2, 7-6(3) at No. 1 singles. With the win sealed, Selin retired in the third set of his match against Estevam Strecker.

NATIONAL RANKINGS ...
Ole Miss is ranked No. 9 in the latest WingspanBank.com ITA National Rankings, released last week. The Rebels are one of four SEC teams ranked among the top 10. Individually, sophomore Alex Hartman is ranked No. 7, James Shortall is ranked No. 12 and Kristofer Stahlberg is ranked No. 38 in singles. In doubles, Shortall and Stahlberg are ranked No. 21.

ON THE COURT ...
Ole Miss is 6-0 when they win the doubles point and 1-3 when they lose the point...Junior Kristofer Stahlberg has won nine in a row and is undefeated in dual matches at 9-0...Senior James Shortall owns a 9-1 record in dual matches...The Rebels are a combined 24-5 at the top three positions in dual matches.
