1) Will I be able to keep my seats from last year?

Absolutely, last year's season ticket holders have first option on the same number and location of seats. Simply follow the priority chart to see the donation required to retain the seats.

2) How many lower section seats will be available and what will be the cost to obtain available seating?

There is no way to know how many seats will be available anywhere in the coliseum. If everyone renews their ticket order and contributes at the minimum level required by the new Loyalty Foundation Basketball ticket priority, then very few lower and middle level seats will be available. However, after the deadline of August 15, 2001, the Loyalty Foundation will assess the membership participation. Those that choose not to participate will be relocated to non-priority seating. Any available seats will be filled by priority. This means the individuals contributing in the highest level club will be seated first and so on down the priority line. Again, there is no way to pinpoint a number of available seats or a donation amount to obtain available seating. We do anticipate that the minimum donation requirement for the lower and middle levels will not enable one to obtain available seating, but that a donation greater than the minimum would be required.

3) How will available seating be assigned?

Available seating in all levels will be assigned on a priority basis. Non-priority seating as defined earlier in this brochure will be assigned on a first ordered, first seated basis.

4) How do my past contributions and future football priority contributions benefit me with basketball tickets?

Although the basketball priority is separate from the football priority system, all points for all contributions to the Loyalty Foundation accumulate and benefit both systems. When different or new seats are requested, Loyalty Foundation points play a large role.

5) How will priority points accumulate with both football and basketball priority systems?

Priority points will carry over from football to basketball and visa versa. One point is granted for every $100 given since 1987 as well as one point per season ticket ordered since 1996 in football and men's basketball.

6) If I currently have seats in the high or middle level (yellow or red) and desire lower seating, will the $150 or $100 per seat cost enable me to obtain lower or middle level seating?

We do not anticipate that the minimum donation requirement will be enough of a contribution to put an individual high enough on the waiting list to obtain available lower seating. If anyone desires lower seating, the individual would need to contribute in a higher category and request lower seating. If lower seating is not available at the individual's contribution level, the next best available seating will be assigned or if the individual had season tickets last year, those seats would be retained as a last resort.

7) What if I am not willing to renew my lower level seats, but I am willing to join for an upper level? Do I have the top priority for mid or upper level seating?

No, all available seats in all sections will be filled by priority.

8) If I have more seats than the priority limit for a certain level, what are my options?

The donor benefits chart details the ticket limit for each donor level and each seating level in the coliseum. Examples: If an individual normally purchases 8 seats in the middle level, then the donation requirement would be $1,000 (Slam Dunk Club). If an individual normally purchases 8 seats in the lower level, then the donation requirement would be $2,500 (Coaches Club). If a person desires 10 seats in the middle level, a membership category of $2,500 (Coaches Club) would be required. Ten seats in the upper level would require a $1,000 membership category (Slam Dunk Club).

9) What is the deadline for Loyalty Foundation basketball priority seating memberships?

Season ticket renewal forms are sent in September. Therefore, our priority deadline for basketball memberships must be August 15, 2001, in order for our office to have enough time to place all seating prior to September.

10) What is the deadline for basketball ticket orders?

Basketball season ticket orders are due the second week of October. Everyone will receive a ticket order in September confirming the exact deadline.

11) What will happen to my parking pass from the past year? Will additional priority parking be available?

Parking passes will no longer be provided for a $40 fee to the ticket office. Those individuals with parking passes from the past year will have the first option to renew the pass at a minimum contribution of $600 (Fast Break Club). Parking will be filled by priority with the upper priority categories receiving the first parking until filled.

12) If I am a former athlete and a current M-Club member, do I have additional benefits?

$1,000 for football or basketball but not for both.

13) I am a University employee, how much will my tickets cost this year and how much will I have to contribute in each area to maintain last year's seats?

Permanent full time University employees can purchase up to two half price season tickets and will continue to be offered the same benefit. Furthermore, no Loyalty Foundation basketball contribution will be required for the 2001-2002 season. One-half of the minimum donation will be required for the 2002-2003 season, and full price for the 2003-2004 and following seasons. Example: A University employee with four lower level tickets will only have to pay for the tickets in the first year of the program, will pay $300 membership plus the cost of the tickets in the second year of the program, and will pay $600 plus the cost of the tickets in the third and following years.

14) If I choose not to contribute to the Loyalty Foundation for Basketball Priority, does that mean I cannot buy basketball tickets?

No, anyone can choose not to participate in the Loyalty Foundation Basketball Priority program and continue to purchase season tickets. These tickets will be assigned in the non-priority sections as defined previously on a first come, first serve basis. There is no guarantee that non-priority seats will be available.

15) How should I request seating?

Make sure minimum levels are at least adhered to and indicate the top seating choice. Please, also give other options in case the first choice is not available. Remember that all requests will be filled by priority.

16) What are possible methods for making the gift?

Cash and stock are the most popular methods. Any gift avenue that can be readily liquidated will be acceptable at the discretion of the Loyalty Foundation.
