Rebel Netter Reaches Second Round At Southern Collegiate

OXFORD, Miss. - Paul Ciorascu of the Ole Miss men's tennis team won his first round at the Southern Collegiate Championships Friday at the Dan Magill Complex, while Jim Jacobs and Mason Cousins dropped their opening matches.
Ciorascu defeated Mark Kovacs of Auburn 6-1, 7-5 in the Division I Singles, to advance to the second round on Saturday. Jacobs lost to Vanderbilt's Scott Brown 6-1, 6-1 in Division III, and Cousins fell to Marcio Torres of UNC-Greensboro, 6-2, 6-3.
