Men's Tennis Player To Compete In Baylor Intercollegiate

OXFORD, Miss. - Paul Ciorascu of the Ole Miss men's tennis team will head to Waco, Texas this weekend to participate in the Baylor Intercollegiate, which will take place Sept. 27-30 at the new Baylor Tennis Center.
Joining him at the Baylor tournament this weekend, will be players from Lamar, Northern Arizona, South Alabama, SMU, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, Texas Tech, UT-Arlington, UT-San Antonio and Wichita State.
The tournament will feature 11 players from the ITA's preseason top 100 national rankings. Singles and doubles brackets, both with two divisions each, will be contested. The singles and doubles championships will be played on Sunday, Sept. 30 beginning at 1 p.m.
Ciorascu will be competing in the A Division for the Rebels. The Boras, Sweden, native posted a 2-1 record at the Southern Collegiate Championships last weekend in Athens, Ga. He beat Auburn's Mark Kovacs in the first round.
