Rebel Netter Bows Out Of Texas Intercollegiates

OXFORD, Miss. - Paul Ciorascu of the Ole Miss men's tennis team bowed out of the Texas Intercollegiates Friday, with a straight-set loss to David Corrie of Texas-Arlington, in the round of 16.

Corrie survived a three-set match against Texas Tech's Alfonso Perez Thursday to get to the round of 16, where he defeated Ciorascu 6-4, 6-3. Ciorascu won his opening round match against Will Clinton of Texas, 6-1, 6-0 and then beat TCU's Jacob Martin, 7-6, 6-3 in the second round. By winning two of three matches, Ciorascu improved his season record to 4-2.
