OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss Soccer's Kristin Chapman continues to pile up postseason honors, having been named to the Soccer Buzz All-Central Region second team on Thursday. She was also selected as an All-Region defender by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Chapman, an NSCAA All-Region third team honoree a year ago, is one of only two players to have started every game over the last two seasons. She picked up her second straight All-SEC selection this year, first with the first team, in addition to taking SEC All-Tournament accolades, after starting at forward and collecting two assists in the Rebels' semifinal finish.

The Vicksburg, Miss., native gathers the ninth All-Region selection for the UM soccer program.

Ole Miss finished the 2001 campaign with a 10-10-1 mark, giving the Rebels their sixth consecutive season with a .500 or better record. The Rebels became the only SEC Western Division squad to have earned an SEC Tournament berth the past five seasons and is the West's winningest team over that stretch.
