OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss soccer team has added a pair of All-Americans to its 2002 roster. The Rebels have received national letters of intent from four high school seniors, three of which hailing from the state of Tennessee.

"As a whole, these four players will add speed, athleticism and depth to our team," said Ole Miss head coach Steve Holeman, who will be entering his eighth season with the Rebels. "All will be able to step in and make an immediate impact."

Joining the Rebels is last year's NSCAA Tennessee High School Player of the Year, Brittney Potts. A two-time All-American selection, Potts led Franklin High School to the 2000 state championship, earning tournament MVP honors. The 5-4 forward is a former ODP Region III team starter and a member of the top 20 nationally-ranked Lady Express club team.

Fellow Franklin native and Lady Express teammate Ashley Hanne is also pointed toward Oxford. Seeing action at both midfielder and forward, Hanne was a 2001 All-Region and four-year All-District pick at Centennial High School, while also playing with the ODP Region III Pool.

Midfielder Lyndsey Williams is the second All-American in the signing class, having garnered the accolade as a senior at Germantown High School. The 5-8 Williams lifted GHS to a pair of state championships, and also helped the Memphis Futbol Club to five state titles.

Megan Morton comes to Ole Miss from Auburndale, Fla., where she was a 2000 All-State second team performer at Auburndale High School. A 5-11 midfielder, Morton also played for the ODP State team a year ago.

Ole Miss finished the 2001 campaign with a 10-10-1 mark, giving the Rebels their sixth consecutive season with a .500 or better record. The Rebels became the only SEC Western Division squad to have earned an SEC Tournament berth the past five seasons and is the West's winningest team over that stretch.
