After a 3-pointer by Aaron Harper gave Ole Miss a 40-32 lead with 11:21 to play, LSU went on a 11-4 run, pulling within 44-43 on a running jumper by Charlie Thompson with under eight minutes to play.
LSU took the lead, 48-46, when Bright found Williams for a breakaway dunk.
After scoring while getting fouled, Sanders completed a 3-point play in the final minute to pull Ole Miss within 54-51, but Dupree answered with a left-handed alley-oop dunk from Antonio Hudson.
