Lady Rebels Finish SEC Championships Tied For Ninth

ATHENS, Ga. - Elizabeth Hoffman fired a 1-under par 71 in the final round of the SEC Championships on Sunday to help Ole Miss hold onto a top 10 finish as it tied for ninth with a score of 310-314-305-929.
The Lady Rebels tied with Mississippi State for the ninth place finish. Hoffman finished tied for 18th overall in the tournament.
Team captain Bernadette Luse carded a 79-78-79-236 to finish tied for 41st for the three day event, while Teesha Ash recorded a 79-79-79-237 to tie for 45th.
Freshman Nikki Hadd turned in a solid performance with a 76 in the final round of action to finish the event with a three day total of 81-81-76-238 to finish right behind Luse and Ash in a tie for 49th.
Kerrie Davis rounded out the scoring for the Lady Rebels with a 76-87-85-248 to finish the tournament tied for 58th.
The Lady Rebels will now wait to see if they are selected for participation in an NCAA Regional to be held at the end of May.
