COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Ole Miss men's tennis player Alex Hartman lost out in the first round of the NCAA Singles Championships Wednesday to end his run at the NCAA Championships.
Hartman fell to Oklahoma State's Frantisek Krepelka 6-1, 7-5. Hartman ends his junior season at 17-13 overall. He earned All-SEC honors for the second year in a row and posted a straight-set win over the nation's No. 3 player in the Rebels' first round match against Pepperdine. Hartman was making his third consecutive NCAA appearance in singles.
