OXFORD, Miss. - If Ole Miss is to earn its second straight NCAA Tournament berth, it will find out this afternoon. The NCAA selection committee will announce the 64-team bracket Monday at 3 p.m. CT on ESPNEWS.

The Rebels (14-5-2) will be meeting as a team at head coach Steve Holeman's home in Oxford, as they did for last year's emotional announcement. Holeman hopes his squad has reason to celebrate once again.

"I think we've done what we needed to do during the regular season and by beating Kentucky in the first round," Holeman said following Friday's loss to Tennessee in the SEC Tournament semifinals. "I know it's in (the selection committee's) hands. We feel like we deserve the opportunity to go back to the NCAA Tournament."

The Rebels boast their highest single-season win percentage (.714) and have equaled their most wins in a season. Ole Miss finished top four in the SEC overall for the second straight year and spent five weeks ranked in the nation's top 25, becoming the first school from the state of Mississippi to enter the polls. Ole Miss also advanced to the SEC Tournament semis for the third time in five years.

Last year's NCAA Tournament bid marked the program's first, and the first by a Division I school from Mississippi.
