Ole Miss' Jonathan Loe To Transfer

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss basketball head coach Rod Barnes announced Thursday afternoon that Jonathan Loe has left the team and has indicated plans to transfer. Loe, a redshirt freshman guard from Memphis, Tenn., played in 18 games this season and averaged 1.7 points and 1.2 rebounds.

"We had a meeting today, and after our conversation, we came to the conclusion it was best for him to transfer," said Barnes. "We wish Jonathan the best and hope he continues to pursue his degree."

The Rebels (12-9, 3-7 SEC) return to action Saturday, Feb. 15 when they travel to Starkville, Miss., to face the No. 19/No. 20 Mississippi State Bulldogs (15-5, 5-4 SEC). The game, which will be televised by FOX Sports Net South, is slated for a 6:00 p.m. (CT) start.
